Essay is usually not as long as thesis or research paper and it has different format than other type of papers. Essay is having three major elements: introduction, supporting paragraph and summary paragraph. To make a good essay, we cannot directly write down the material or our opinion. We have to do a prewriting first to make a sketch of our essay, after we have foundations on the essay, then we can start to do the writing. After the writing is done, make sure to recheck and do some polishing. The most important thing on essay writing process is definitely prewriting. It is because prewriting is the foundation of the essay content. We will not be able to compose high quality and strong essay if we are unable to build good foundation.
